Lovat House is in Crieff, the capital of Strathearn, we have so many reasons why you should visit, it’s beautiful year round, we’re only one hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow, we can arrange to pick you up from the airport if you want. Stirling is just down the road, it only takes twenty minutes and it’s such a gorgeous drive. Gleneagles is closer it’s just around the corner.
We’re in rural Perthshire there’s so many activities you can visit for, fishing, golf, walking, cycling, kayaking, canyoning, off roading, this doesn’t even come close to all that’s on offer on our doorstep you really do need to come and find out for yourself. If you’re not sure where to look for your activities get in touch, we do and we can help you plan your trip.
We’ve not even talked about food and drink, you’ll need to book for a month to experience all the great food and drink Crieff, Perthshire and Scotland have to offer.

Absolutely just let us know your travel plans before you set off and we’ll be ready for you
Please be advised our standard check in time is any time after 15:00. To guarantee an early check-in, it is necessary to book the previous night. If rooms are available prior to check-in time, an early check-in may be possible. You are welcome to leave your luggage free of charge prior to your check-in.
Should you wish to retain your room after 11:00, please arrange with us in advance. All rooms subject to availability. The following charges may apply: 50% of the price of the room before 1800; the full price of the room after 1800
Wireless internet is available free throughout Lovat house
A full Scottish breakfast is included in the price of your room
Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 9:00 Monday to Saturday, and between 7:30 and 9:30 on Sundays

Reservations can be cancelled or amended free of charge up to 24 hours before 11:00 on the first day of your booking. If you cancel your reservation any later than that, you will be charged for the first night of your intended stay.
To amend a reservation it is recommended that you select your new requirements and make a new booking. Once your new reservation has been confirmed then please cancel your original booking. You will automatically receive a full refund for your old booking if cancelled up to 24 hours prior to 11:00 on the day of arrival.

Airport transfers from Lovat house to the airport can be arranged through the Due to the rural location please advise us as soon as possible of your requirements. Please note these transfers are chargeable.

There is ample street parking near by Lovat house
Pets are not permitted with the exception of certified service animals assisting disabled guests. Please let us know in advance should you need to bring a service animal
Smoking is not permitted in any area of Lovat house
A charge may be made where smoking has caused damage.
Although not equipped for special assistance our double room is on the ground floor, the shower is over the bath which has low sides. Access to Lovat house is over one small step and no internal stairs on the ground floor.
Yes we can’t wait to see what you think of our nice teas and unique locally produced soap
We have a fridge in the breakfast room that you can use. We don’t have adaptors but in each room there is a socket for USB’s, if you want a hair dryer just ask before you arrive or when you want it
Ironing equipment can be borrowed at any time
Baby cots, which are suitable for infants under 2 years of age (weighing up to 15kg) can be booked online or drop us a line
